Since April 2025, Kids Club Kampala has been supporting our partners in Kenya and Tanzania to deliver the Learning and Skills for Life Project and the Our Lives, Our Land Project.

In April 2025, The Mango Tree officially partnered with Kids Club Kampala🥭

For the past year, Kids Club Kampala has been working closely with The Mango Tree Kenya and the Organisation for Matumaini Communities (OMC) Tanzania to deliver life-changing programmes to children and families across East Africa.

We support families in western Kenya to tackle climate change, achieve food security and build sustainable incomes through the Our Lives, Our Land Project🥭

Nettie* is one of the women making a difference in her community through fish farming. On Kiwa Island, fish farmers work in small cooperative groups of around 10 members - many of these are women widowed due to HIV. Together, Nettie and her group are using income from cage fishing to fund secondary school fees for local children. So far, this support has enabled 11 new students to start school and helped 3 others continue their education!🎉

Nettie shared:
“We are so proud of our fish cage projects. Our children can now join form 1 and continue with secondary education.”

It has been a year since we hosted our collaborative events with The Mango Tree!🥭

Seeing so many of our supporters gathered to celebrate the partnership was truly inspiring. We shared our ambitious vision for 2035 and outlined our plans to reach more children and families across East Africa.

Nic Merrett, Trustee, recently shared:
"I could not be more impressed by how much has been successfully achieved by the merger... I'm confident that the journey forward will witness an even stronger impact on the lives of young people in East Africa."
