Quench Arts

Quench Arts Quench Arts is a participatory arts organisation based in the West Midlands working together with local communities and partners across the West Midlands.

Our vision is that everyone should have access to high quality participatory arts opportunities. We focus our work on the following areas:

Quench Projects

We design our own projects to address identified need. Our experience has shown us that using the arts can make a positive difference to people's lives.

Our own projects will focus on nurturing artistic talent and progression in areas wher

e opportunities may be limited. We will also provide professional development and mentoring support to artists working in communities according to our vision.

We work in partnership with Music Education Hubs, Health and Wellbeing organisations and local community groups to ensure our projects address a real need. Current projects:

New Horizons - providing professional development training for musicians wanting to teach their instrument/voice in partnership with Birmingham Music Service.

Tamperine - a fundraising initiative involving celebrities doodling on tambourines to create 'Tamperine' artwork for auction.

New projects coming soon...!!!!!!! Quench-ology (pick our brains!)

We offer the following consultancy services to like-minded organisations:

This is a new 'hands on' music project starting on 7th August focused on accessible music technology/gadgets. The sessions will run from space we've hired at Touchbase Pears in Selly Oak and the session will be split into hour-long blocks to cater for children with different needs.
