Steve Gore Lecture – British Magical Society, 24th February. Steve Gore is presenting his brand new lecture, “Classics Reimagined”. It will include all his latest effects including ‘The Famous Five’, ‘The Casino Con’, relaunched with Alakazam. The No 1 best seller effect on Penguin Magic… ‘Flight Deck’ & ‘Together Forever’ and ‘Book to the Future’. Plus…there are lots of classic plots that have been reimagined that you can make yourself using items you probably already own. There really is something for everyone from close uppers to stage and family entertainers and even a couple for the mentalists! Everything is explained in full details by "The Happiest Magician on the Planet!'... according to Google. Steve is a vastly experienced performer and lecturer and this is a night not to be missed. Etienne Pradier is our next lecturer, this Tuesday 27th January and it promises to be a lecture not to be missed. He is a French magician and is a member of the Magic Circle with Gold Star. He is a past winner of the Blackpool Magician's Club Close-up Magic Championships and was awarded third place in the Card Magic category in the FISM world championship.

Our next lecturer on Tuesday 28th October for the Goodliffe Memorial Lecture is Ian Keable.
Ian is a Member of The Magic Circle with Gold Star. He has received The Magic Circle Comedy Magic Award and has also won the British Champion of Comedy Magic. He has written three books for the general public on magic and also two specialist books for the magic profession: this includes his highly acclaimed Stand-Up: A Professional Guide to Comedy Magic.

Please note that for this lecture will not be at our normal venue. For this lecture only the venue is at The Plough and Harrow, 135 Hagley Road, Birmingham, B16 8LS, in the Terrace Room.

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd) be our lecture with John Hotowka - mainly close up magic I believe.
His content is constantly adapted to tickle the audience with witty and topical observations and comments that bring laughter throughout the evening so this lecture will be remembered well into the future, for all the right reasons.
John’s comedy is ‘so clean he makes detergent look dirty’ so you can rest assured that no one will be offended and everyone will have a great, memorable evening.
