Tonight at Tyseley it was another busy night on the petrol Railcar no.4 “Dudley” working on the cooling system and oil change.

In a busy night for the Railcar Team the finishing touches were put to reinstalling the original Solex carburettor and its linkages, which are quite mesmerising in their operation!

Tonight saw the fitting of our overhauled water pump to Railcar No.4 Dudley. Many thanks to Paul of E P Services, Wolverhampton for doing such a fantastic job!

Tyseley Miniature Railway was set up with three basic aims - Preservation, Education & Community. As part of the first two we thought we would share a find we made whilst searching for some spare parts - an axle spring with a label which must be at least 66 years-old.
