There's loads for children to get stuck into from arts & crafts, creative play, wellbeing, music, sports, and activities for families, all hosted by our friends Rubix Arts and Wellbeing C.I.C - FREE! There’s a free lunch for children attending with a HAF free school meal.

We love seeing creative fun happening across our community, and Stockfield Park is getting ready for 10 brilliant days of open‑access play, crafts and activities for families.

Our friends at Rubix Arts and Wellbeing C.I.C are hosting Play in Parks 2026 with loads for children to get stuck into — arts & crafts, creative play, wellbeing, music, sports, nature crafts and more.

It’s all FREE, and there’s a free lunch for children attending with a HAF free school meal. Parents/carers stay with their children while they enjoy the activities.

If you’re local, pop down and join in — it’s a lovely way to spend a summer day.

We’re always delighted to see what our creative community gets up to, and today’s share is a real treat.

Syrah sent us this lovely photo of this adorable pair of handmade shorts, stitched together using Scrapstore materials and complete with the cutest strawberry pockets. They’re fun, colourful, and full of personality. We love seeing how a simple idea becomes something so charming and cheerful.

Remember when we had to cancel a workshop due to the heatwave? Well, it's back! ✨️Tadaa✨️

Next Friday from 1 pm, you can come in and do some lovely crocheting 🧶 or sewing 🪡

We still have the lovely Kanyini Community hosting the workshop too!♥️
