It's been announced that the council is going to close a lot of libraries on Saturdays! Birchfield Library will now only be open two Saturdays a month! 😡

This is very unfair. By just walking into Birchfield library, it's clear that Saturday is their busiest day of the week.

Some other libraries won't be open at all on Saturdays!

Children are being ignored in this decision. With child poverty being a big issue right now, how can it be justified preventing children and families accessing a free service, without having to spend money on transport to travel to another library miles from their home.
