Cutchi Sunni Muslim Association (Birmingham) was founded in 2010 and is registered Charity (1191942). The Association's aim to serve the Muslim Community of West Midlands providing them community services, which are listed below:

Our aims and objects are to:

• Promoting Islam, its teachings and way of life to the whole community.

• The advancement of Education (IT, English Language, Careers Advice, Faith, Health and Dietary)

• Encouraging and developing Social and Sporting activities (get active and stay healthy), Social Outing and Events for all ages.

• Networking with other associations to promote unity and harmony within the different communities in West Midlands.

• Working with other charities on projects such as Food Banks, Financial Hardships and Bereavement and Funeral Support. Important:

Janazah and Burial of Murhoom Abdulrahim Ahmed Ishaq (age 24)

This case was referred from Birmingham City Council as this Murhoom had no family, therefore we became his family and buried the deceased in dignity and in a Islamic way.

Abdulrahim AHMED ISHAQ (Age 24) from Sudan died over one month ago at Water bankside, Midland Sailing Club, Birmingham, we collected his body from C. Bastock (Non Muslim Funeral Director), if we did not claim the deceased then he would either be buried in a bulk burial with Non Muslim or Cremated.

Before arriving in the UK, Abdulrahim travelled to Kenya with his family to escape the war and became separated. We could not trace family for him and believe them to still be in Sudan or Kenya.

Barbara Ann Ghenim (Hannah) - Accepting Islam

Mash'Allah we welcome Barbara to Islam.

CSMA Birmingham offers a free Statutory Declaration Form for Muslims, the document is a declaration of the person being a Muslim especially for revert brothers or sisters whom have accepted Islam it is important to stop them getting a non-Muslim burial or cremation.

This document is a legal document which once signed is a proof which can be used for a Muslim Burial.

We CSMA Birmingham will be a witness and get this legal document processed at our cost through our panel of Solicitors. So for the individual there would be no cost to pay.
