It was lovely to meet Edward whilst visiting someone in hospital. A gorgeous, friendly fellow who had a taste for digestive biscuits! He certainly had the staff well trained to bring him biscuits 🫢 He brought smiles to the patients faces 🥰

Huge congratulations to Jenny and Ros for organising their annual coffee morning in aid of MacMillan. Another bumper amount raised and lovely to see so many people there to support them xx

We had fantastic training this morning with the Jewish Deaf Association. Teaching us how to support community members who live with hearing loss. Hugely valuable for us all, showing us what we should do and definitely what we shouldn’t do! If you or someone you know has hearing loss and needs support, please get in touch and we’ll support you as best we can x

Sometimes you just need a familiar face around to give you the confidence to start your journey towards mobility again. One of our volunteers visited this morning to give reassurance and enable a very successful physio session followed by a trip out to the hospital cafe for a cuppa and cake to celebrate 💕

Today Sharon and Kirsty were privileged to join many members of the community to say so long to Val as she gets ready for her move to Israel. Lovely to see so many people there, enjoying each others company and wishing Val all the best for a long and happy life living closer to her daughters ✈️🧳💕
