As usual Kirsty failed to remember to take photos until the last minute. Monday lunch club yesterday, slightly fewer people attended than normal but still a good crowd to enjoy soup sandwiches and cake. Third photo is the Hazelnut Meringue which disappeared very quickly!! There will be NO lunch club in September due to the festivals. Next lunch club will be Monday 19th October, we hope to see you then 🥣🥪🧁🍧

Yesterday we attended the Jacombs BBQ (full precautions in place in case of sparks) Luckily the weather was cooler so we could all enjoy sitting in the garden whilst appreciating the lovely food. BJCC helped with transport to and from the event and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Guess where we went today. Lovely day out and the weather played nicely, it wasn’t too hot. Look out for our future trips, we’d love you to join us x

Yet again we epically failed to get photos of the food we served! We were joined by 24 people for our supper on Monday evening. Homemade soup, quiche, salad and new potatoes followed by summer berry pavlova; we all ate very well. It was a lovely evening catching up with friends old or new.
This is just one of the messages we received afterwards:
'Thank you for last night, it was a lovely meal and you all worked so hard'

Just a couple of the lovely messages we’ve had this morning about our trip to see Mamma Mia last night. It was an amazing show!
‘Good morning Kirsty - just wanted to thank you for arranging our fabulous night out. The show, the seats, the transport (Naz is so helpful) and of course the ice cream 🍦 was wonderful.
