DAY 2 – THE ALPS ARE CALLING 🚗🏔️

We’ve now passed an unbelievable £13,750 raised for CALM. 💛

Today the £1 Don’t Camo Yourself car has been pushing further across Europe, and we’re now approaching the Alps.

Geneva looked absolutely incredible, the scenery is getting better by the mile, and the little Skoda is still going strong with Turin Italy as our destination

But behind the views, the borders and the rally chaos is the reason we’re doing this:

To get people talking about mental health.
To remind people they don’t have to hide how they’re feeling.
And to raise as much as we possibly can for CALM.

🚨 AREA 35 — CALL TO ARMS! 🚨

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day, and we’re asking everyone across Area 35 to get behind Team CALM on the Skinflint Rally.

Our Area Chairman Daniel White, alongside Rav Jagdev from Shirley Round Table and Harrison Manton from Solihull Round Table, are taking the Don’t Camo Yourself message across Europe — and today we have a chance to give their fundraising a huge boost.

Between 4PM and 5PM TODAY, the Skinflint Rally is running its Hour of Power.

The team that raises the highest value of donations during that hour wins 30 POINTS.

Those points could make a massive difference on the leaderboard — but more importantly, every donation goes towards supporting CALM — Campaign Against Living Miserably and their work to prevent su***de and support people who are struggling.

So Area 35, this is our call to arms.

🚗💨 SKINFLINT RALLY 2026 – WE’RE ALMOST OFF! 💨🚗

This Wednesday afternoon, Area 35 Chairman Daniel White, alongside Rav Jagdev from Shirley Round Table and Harrison Manton from Solihull Round Table, will begin the journey south to Folkestone ready for the start of the Skinflint Rally 2026.

Thursday morning we arrive in Calais, joining a convoy of 30+ cars, 1 motorbike and almost 80 participants before heading across Europe towards Nice.

Our weapon of choice? A £1 Skoda Fabia, covered in the unmistakable Don’t Camo Yourself colours and carrying a message far more important than the rally itself.

We’re doing this to raise money and awareness for CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably, helping to start conversations around mental health and su***de prevention.

We’ve paid for the car, the repairs, the hotels and getting ourselves there. Every donation goes towards the cause.

🚗 Skinflint Rally — NEXT WEEK! 🇫🇷🇮🇹

Well… we might be finished before we’ve even begun. 😬

The £1 CALM-mobile is currently undergoing some fairly critical surgery.

After fitting a brand-new clutch, another worn component inside the gearbox has decided that NOW would be the perfect time to give up.

So, with the Skinflint Rally starting next week, the car is back in pieces and the race is on to get it repaired, tested and ready for the road in time.

Hopefully we can turn it around. 🤞

If we do, the plan is still very much on — three Area 35 Tablers, one ridiculous neon-camo Skoda, and a mission to get it all the way to Nice while raising as much money and awareness as possible for CALM.

We’ve funded the car, repairs, hotels and the rally ourselves, so every donation to the campaign goes towards the cause.

This has been about far more than the miles. It’s been about raising awareness, starting conversations and showing what Round Table can do when we come together behind something that matters.

We’re incredibly proud of Daniel, and of every Tabler, Table, friend and supporter who helped carry this message across the country.

The chairman of Lichfield Round Table has completed a 200-mile walk to raise money for charity.
