Mata Tripta Darbar in Erdington, Birmingham UK is a hub for experiential spiritual development, education and training in the Sikh tradition, named after the mother of Guru Nanak, the first Guru who founded the Sikh faith. We are an experiential learning space, providing equal opportunities for all to participate, serve and learn. All our programs are conducted in English with a bilingual element included (Panjabi/Gurmukhi). Mata Tripta offers regular Sunday morning services (sundays 11am) as well as celebrations on special holidays. We also conduct spiritual services in private homes to commemorate birthdays, family celebrations and other occasions. These usually consist of Sukhmani Sahib - the Psalm of Peace and Kirtan (devotional singing). A new addition to our family services is children's Gurbani Birthdays - shorter birthday programs for children including interactive elements, movement and singing as well as treats and party favours.
