Beacon Sunday Worship - 2026 Memorial Service
11:00 AM | Sunday 13th September 2026

Subject: Walking through the valley - God draws near
Speaker: Tim Turner
Scripture: Lamentations 3:21-26 and 57-58

Today is a day when we remember loved ones whom we have lost in recent times and in times past.

Our memories are sometimes sweet, sometimes painful. Our emotions can be unpredictable but the pain is always there. All of us are on a journey that we did not choose to take, to an unfamiliar place where we would not have wanted to go.

At times we will feel distant from others, and distant from God. But even on this journey through the 'valley of the shadow of death', God is with us, to guide us and to give us a hope and a future.

God has not changed. He is steadfast in love and his mercies are new every morning. Lift up your eyes to him and he will give you courage to see this journey through.

We meet every Sunday at 11am. You are warmly welcome to join us in the Beacon building or watch online via

Subject: One Another - Love and Serve
Speaker: Body Building Sunday - Prepared by Jesse Burland-lokko
Scripture: Galatians 5:13-15
****** SADLY, OUR VIDEO EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTIONED AND NO VIDEO IS AVAILABLE YET FOR THIS SERVICE. WE HOPE TO PUBLISH THE STUDY SECTION OF THE SERVICE AS A VIDEO SOON ******

Our theme is 'One Another - Love and Serve'. We will break down Galatians 5:13-15, focusing on the importance of loving and serving one another as members of the body. There is also a warning against abusing our freedom in Christ to satisfy our sinful nature, and the division in the body caused by misusing this freedom.

On site we will be breaking into our pastoral care groups to study and pray together and if you are online, Jesse will lead you through the same study that we are following in the building.

Beacon Sunday Worship
11:00 AM | Sunday 23rd August 2026

Subject: Faith, when miracle follows movement
Speaker: Chris Fletcher
Scripture: Exodus 14:14-16

What do you do when fear is behind you, uncertainty is in front of you, and you're tempted to go back to what's familiar?

In Exodus 14, Israel stood between the army of Pharaoh and the Red Sea. They couldn't see a way forward—but God told them, "Move forward."

Sometimes faith means taking the step before you see the way.

We will look at how fear can freeze us, comfort can pull us backwards, but faith moves us forward—and often, the miracle comes after the movement.

We meet every Sunday at 11am. You are warmly welcome to join us in the Beacon building or watch online via

Beacon Sunday Worship - Our God is Righteous!
11:00 AM | Sunday 16th August 2026

Subject: The Righteousness of God
Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:4
Speaker: Tim Turner

Do you know what the word, 'Righteous' means? Does it make you think of people who believe they are better than everyone else when really they are just the same? What does it mean to you?

We are making a start at exploring this word today as we look at the Righteousness of God through the lense of the Psalms in the Old Testament. If we understand that it is a combination of character traits, moral goodness, faithfulness and true justice, it may help us to put our hope in God, because he alone is Righteous!
