The AGM will be held on Wednesday, 28th October at The Pavillion, Openfield Croft at 7pm.
The AGM is your opportunity to find out what the 🤡 has been up to and the plans for the 60th anniversary of our Water Orton Village Carnival, plus the other events and activities the Committee put on for the village.
Importantly, the following positions on the Carnival Committee are open for nominations to be put forward for election on the night: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. If you would like to know more about these voluntary roles, please contact Tonijane Harrison for an informal discussion. As ever, volunteers to join the Committee or to support any aspect of our work are very, very welcome!
Finally, as is customary, the Committee will be making donations to community groups who benefit the whole of the village and its residents. If you would like to nominate a great cause, please email [email protected] detailing your request, what the funding would be used for, who it will benefit and how much is required.
The application window for funding requests is now open and will close Friday 23rd October at 5pm. Please note, Water Orton Carnival has limited funding to provide, but can help to signpost and support to other funding where appropriate.
