“Zakat al-Fitr is a purification for the fasting person from idle talk and obscene speech, and food for the poor.”

🌙 Help reopen the women’s prayer space in Homs this Ramadan ✨

This Ramadan, many sisters in Homs, Syria, have no safe place to pray or gather. After years of conflict, the women’s section of Al-Rahman Mosque is still in urgent need of restoration.

We now have the opportunity to complete the 82 m² women’s prayer area, allowing around 100 sisters to perform Taraweeh, attend Qur’an circles, and benefit from a welcoming community space.

Your support will help provide:
• Structural repairs and essential safety work
• Private wudu and toilet facilities
• Windows, doors, lighting, and insulation
• Carpeting and a sound system for clear prayers

Every prayer performed in this space will be a continuous (ongoing) reward for you, in shā’ Allāh ❤️

It’s freezing and snowing here in the UK , but our situation is nothing compared to what families in Gaza and Syria are enduring.

As temperatures continue to drop, many of us can stay indoors, turn on the heating, and step outside only when necessary.
Our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Syria don’t have that choice.

Right now, babies, children, and the elderly are fighting the bitter cold.
They live in fragile, makeshift tents, exposed to freezing winds, heavy rain, floods, and snow with little protection and no safe refuge.

For them, winter is not just uncomfortable.
It is a daily struggle for survival.
