We are placing our Christmas badge order on Sunday, and the badges should be with us by mid-November, in time for the Annual Review.I know this is short notice, but it would be really helpful if you could let me know roughly how many badges you think your unit might want. The badges will be £1 each.Even an estimate would help us place the order and make sure we have enough for everyone.Many thanks! 😊

💙🩵 Feedback from the Guides at Our Lady of Fatima, Edgbaston Division, following a recent "Bring a Friend Night"!
The dark blue responses are from one of our regular Guides, and the light blue responses are from her friend. It has been wonderful to see such positive feedback and to hear what the girls enjoyed most.
We will definitely be doing this more often, as we want to celebrate what we're doing well and learn how we can make Guiding even better for our girls. Their opinions matter, and their feedback helps shape the experiences we offer. 💙

What a brilliant day at Trefoil House! ☀️
The buzz throughout the training was fantastic, with leaders both new and experienced sharing ideas, learning new skills and enjoying the opportunity to connect with one another.
A huge thank you to the trainers who travelled from across the region and beyond to deliver the wide variety of sessions identified through our big survey. There really was something for everyone, including crafts, out and about activities, money matters, science experiments, no-cook cooking, exploring the programme, taking girls away, learning new songs, trying out new games, neurodiversity, breathing space, and the all-important risk assessments.
The day simply would not have been possible without our amazing support team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to each and every one of you for making the day such a success.
It was wonderful to see so many leaders coming together, inspired and ready to take new ideas back to their units. 💙🍀

Tomorrow is our County Training Day, the first since 2022, and we are so excited to finally see it come together. We've been working hard behind the scenes to create a day based on the feedback and ideas you shared with us. For now, it's the calm before the storm. We can't wait to welcome you all tomorrow, bright and early!

The 6th Birmingham Rainbows had the most magical time on their annual London adventure! From Bubbles, Eton mess, and a bit of shopping, to Buckingham Palace, a sunny picnic in the park, trains, buses, and countless lovely interactions with the public — the girls shone all day.

Once again, they behaved beautifully and represented their unit and Girlguiding Birmingham with pride. Now it’s time for a relaxing evening… before planning the next one!

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Icando for another fantastic day — and for treating some of the girls to the new uniform, which was so generous. ♥️

Brownies and Guides at the 114th Edgbaston units had a brilliant Bring Your Friend Night! The girls worked in small groups on fun teamwork challenges, learning teamwork, communication, physics, quick thinking and so much more.

Both our girls and their friends absolutely loved it — which makes us as leaders very happy. 💙🤎

We also received some beautiful feedback: one of our regular girls wrote in dark blue, and her friend wrote in light blue. 🩵💙
Our leader said, “Just reading this made my heart melt — it really does feel like a family. It’s lovely to see that from just one session, her friend felt welcomed and really enjoyed herself.”

They make a lovely addition to camp blankets and collections — a little piece of Girlguiding Birmingham history to treasure.
