Boparan Charitable Trust

Boparan Charitable Trust RCN: 1129992 UK children’s charity helping those with disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

The Boparan Charitable Trust was set up to aid children and young people across the nation who are disadvantaged either by poverty, disability or terminal illness. As a charity we take great pride in taking the time to listen, understand and help families who are often forgotten about or neglected by the health and social systems. We work at a grass roots level and provide financial grants for key

items to assist the children, and in turn their families. In addition to providing Community Awards to hospitals, hospices and community organisations.

Earlier today, a determined team of ten adventurers and one BOPARAN BEAR from across the poultry, agriculture and construction industries set off on an extraordinary fundraising challenge in support of the Boparan Charitable Trust. Dubbed the Atlas Adventure Challenge, the team will attempt to summit the twin peaks of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountains in North Africa—standing at an astonishing 13,671 feet, higher than the combined height of the UK’s Three Peaks.

The challenge is already making history. To date, the team has raised over £82,000, thanks to generous support from across their industries and beyond. Over the coming week, they are aiming to surpass an ambitious £100,000 target, which would represent a record-breaking challenge-based fundraising total for the charity.

Funds raised will directly support a specialist community grant at Victoria School in the West Midlands, helping children with additional needs. The project will deliver two life‑changing improvements: the transformation of the school’s hydrotherapy pool into a modern, sensory‑focused therapy space, and the redevelopment of a condemned outdoor area into a fully accessible environment for learning, play, and sensory integration.

From 16–22 June 2026, representatives from 2Agriculture Ltd, Amber Rei Holdings Limited, ANMAC Construction & Surfacing Ltd, Truman Contractors Limited, Powell & Co Construction Ltd and Clarke Group Construction will take on North Africa’s highest peak, united by a shared purpose to make a tangible difference to young lives.

Industry support has already propelled the campaign beyond expectations, with the £82,000 milestone passed and the £100,000 goal firmly in sight.

Andrew Western, Trek Leader and Head of Commercial at Amber Holdings, said:

“Visiting Victoria School and seeing the impact of the Boparan Charitable Trust was a massive eye‑opener for all of us. It’s turned this challenge into a deeply personal mission, knowing the difference it will make to so many young lives.”

"This wheelchair has changed my son's life." 💙✨

That was the first thing Oscar’s mum said to us following the delivery of his new lightweight wheelchair — a powerful reminder of how impactful our grants can be.

Oscar lives with spina bifida, a condition that affects his ability to walk. Before receiving his new set of wheels, 17‑year‑old Oscar relied on a chair that was difficult for him to independently self‑propel and get around. Since the arrival of his new wheelchair, he’s been able to travel independently into town to see his friends. It’s a level of freedom, confidence, and independence that every teenager deserves.

That simple journey, something many take for granted, marked a huge step in his independence and a moment of pride for him.

🔥The countdown is on — and the team is looking the part! 🔥

With just 1 week to go until our Atlas Challenge begins, our incredible adventurers from the poultry and construction industries have received their brand-new trekking kit and are officially expedition-ready! ⛰️💙

Soon, they’ll be taking on Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 13,671 feet, along with a second summit during the same challenging expedition.

Seeing the team proudly wearing their new kit makes the challenge feel very real, but while the mountain climb is fast approaching, the most important journey is happening right now...

This team isn't just trekking in Morocco — they're raising vital funds to help transform the lives of pupils at Victoria School.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, the team has already raised over £73,000. However, there's still time to help them reach even greater heights before they set off.

We’ve had the absolute privilege of supporting a remarkable brother and sister living with PKAN — a life‑limiting condition characterised by neurodegeneration in the areas of the brain that control movement. As a consequence of their condition, Evie and Mason's mobility is significantly affected, so they reached out to us for support toward new wheelchairs with powered wheels.

We’re honoured to play a small part in helping them live life with greater independence and joy — and to see their infectious smiles as they begin this new chapter.
Here’s to many more freedoms and adventures ahead for this inspiring duo.

Meet Poppy 💙

She lives with Tricuspid Atresia and VSD, a complex heart condition that means she tires easily — but it never stops her adventurous spirit.

Her family reached out for help getting a new wheelchair, and we were thrilled to support them. Seeing Poppy out exploring with her new wheels has absolutely made our day.

Here’s to more freedom, more smiles, and many more adventures ahead ✨💙

Earlier today, members of our team and trustee had the privilege of visiting Martin House Hospice to witness the remarkable culmination of their ‘The Build’ Project, supported by the Boparan Charitable Trust Community Grant Programme.

It was inspiring to see firsthand the incredible transformation of the hospice and the lasting impact the grant will make enhancing facilities. Creating a legacy that will benefit generations to come.

We were delighted to attend the official opening, led by former England manager Gareth Southgate.

Reflecting on a special day and an incredible result at the 5th Annual Raj Aggarwal Golf & Family Day, hosted at the award-winning Belfry Hotel and Golf Resort. Golfers took to the fairways of the world famous Brabazon course, whilst other guest spent the afternoon on the driving range and creating world cup themed cocktails. The evening was rounded off by a very special quiz hosted by ITV The Chase’s “The Menace” aka Darragh Ennis, check out his video below to find out the epic figure raised from the event.

The event brought together family, friends, colleagues from across the convenience sector, and supplier partners for a fantastic day of golf, networking, and fundraising. In memory of much loved retailer Raj Aggarwal.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, and supported the day. Your generosity and commitment helped make this year's event such a success, and the funds raised will have a lasting impact on the lives of those we support.

The event would not have been possible without the inspirational dedication and commitment of Sunita Aggarwal, family, and friends for whom we are eternally grateful.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the day such a memorable and impactful occasion.⛳❤️

Old Trafford delivered. So did everyone involved. ⚽🔥

Yesterday, the 7th Annual Boparan Charitable Super League Cup was packed with big moments, big performances, and even bigger generosity.

Congratulations to 2 Agriculture for lifting the trophy after a day of intense, high‑quality football.

To our sponsors, teams, supporters, volunteers, referees, and the outstanding stadium staff — thank you. Your passion and professionalism make this event what it is.

Together we raised over £20,000 for the Boparan Charitable Trust, helping to support life‑changing work for children and families across the UK. That’s impact that is worth celebrating. 💙

Meet Edward!

Edward lives with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, which affects all his limbs and means he’s unable to walk or stand. When he was just three, his parents reached out to us because he had already outgrown his first powerchair — and they wanted to make sure he could keep exploring the world just like any other child.

What his new powerchair gives him is so much more than mobility. It puts him at the same level as his friends, letting him join in, make choices, and be part of the fun.

We were so pleased to receive these pictures of him enjoying his new powerchair out in the woodland playground. He’s now able to socialise, play, and connect face‑to‑face with his peers — such an important part of childhood.
