A big thank you to the friends and residents of Elizabeth Road for donating all the money from their produce and fun show to Holders Woods Conservation.
Looking forward to spending £200 on something we can all enjoy in the woods and the meadow. 🥰

It’s our turn to host the BOSF coffee morning in Holders Woods in September.
This session will be a special one for us, where we show off our newly created and launched website, with thanks to The National Lottery for the funding and Lens & Pens for the beautiful design.

A busy session for a smaller group this month, as nine of us split into smaller groups to divide and conquer! With litter picking, clearing and keeping the front entrance paths accessible to pedestrians and gathering up several dumps of flytipping, ready to be collected. We also made a start on scything the meadow - yep! It’s that time of year already! Great work everyone!

🔥 Please don't bring BBQs into our parks!

Disposable and portable BBQs can:

❌ Cause grass fires
❌ Damage parkland and wildlife habitats
❌ Leave dangerous hot surfaces behind

A single spark can spread quickly during hot, dry weather.

Help us protect Birmingham's green spaces by leaving BBQs at home.

A big thank you to Glynn for mending the bench opposite second avenue bridge. Repaired/restored and repainted. Now re-fixed in place. 🥰💪 👏
Very much appreciated.
