Help shape the future of pharmacy technician career development across the UK

APTUK is currently consulting on the proposed UK-Wide Post-Registration Career Pathway for Pharmacy Technicians and they want to hear from as many pharmacy technicians, employers, educators and stakeholders as possible.

The pathway has been developed to support career development, provide a consistent approach to post-registration progression and recognise the breadth and diversity of modern pharmacy technician practice across all sectors and settings.

APTUK are inviting feedback on the draft pathway, capability framework and supporting resources. Your views will help shape the final product and ensure it reflects the needs of the profession both now and in the future.

This group has been established to strengthen our work on equity, diversity and inclusion across the pharmacy technician profession.

It will provide insight, guidance and challenge to ensure our policies, resources and professional practice support all members — regardless of background, identity or lived experience.

The Inclusion Practice Advisory Group will:
Advise on inclusive professional practice
Support development of EDI‑aligned policies and guidance
Champion representation across APTUK activities
Provide lived‑experience insight to shape national work
Help ensure our profession continues to grow in fairness, accessibility and belonging
