Festive Fun 🎄

Bartley Green Library recently turned green with our wreath making workshop.

It's lovely to see them taking shape and then becoming a individual creation.

No one leaves a wreath making activity without a smile on their face and that's a fact 🙂

Bartley Green and Snow 🌨

What might have became a tricky project day was rescued by our friends from NatWest.

They moved stuff, they stacked stuff, but more importantly, they built stuff.

We now have a lovely planter in the garden ready for some more metres of hedgerow. Thank you so much for supporting us 👍🏻

You earned that hot chocolate and mince pie for sure ☕ 🥧 🙂

Thank Yew 🌱 🌱

Many thanks for all the lovely people that helped us drink some hot chocolate this morning...

A bigger thanks for joining us to plant 2 hedgerows in the garden at Bartley Green Library.

We planted some Hornbeam (bare root), and Yew (cell grown). In time, this will become a great wildlife refuge in addition to acting as a wind buffer for the garden.

We look forward to welcoming you back to check on them next year 🙂

Hot Chocolate and Tree Planting

Join us this Tuesday for a gentle tree planting activity at Bartley Green Library.

We will be in the rear garden waiting with mugs of hot chocolate and plenty of biscuits ☕ 🍪 🍪

All tools are provided. Please wear clothing suitable for working in the outdoors.

Pots to Do

It's been a busy couple of weeks for us as we continue our work in the garden at Bartley Green Library.

There are plenty of Redwing around at the moment and we have seen good numbers this year feasting on berries and windfall near Milebrook Hall.

We also harvested our last lot of potatoes which were given to some lucky library users. We hope you enjoyed them 🥔 🥔
