Something exciting is coming for The Feast Luton. On 11 Oct, Ulrike will be taking on a 10K to raise £1,000 so more young people in Luton can build the skills for respectful, confident dialogue across difference.

So proud of our young leaders in Luton. They wanted to support work with refugees. We teamed up with Global Cafe at Hope Church and helped them at various events. We also provided some training for the young leaders about the reality of life fir those in the refugee community.
On Wednesday, we hosted a meal for those who volunteer at Global Cafe. Each of the young people led either a game, or dialogue activity. The evening was such fun for everyone- and a beautiful opportunity of sharing and connecting.

At our last holiday encounter in Luton, we enjoyed Aquasplash. We also took time for dialogue and connection, using our Dialogue Cards. Listening to each other carefully without invalidating someone else's perspective by pushing our own view is a good skill to learn.

And they're off! Week 2 of the holiday programme in the West Midlands started yesterday in the stunning setting of Cannon Hill Park. Taskmaster teams challenge, followed by mini golf. So good to see young people from different faiths and different parts of Birmingham having so much fun together - and we were, as ever, blown away by the quality of the dialogue. We've a packed week ahead - and can't wait!
