Worlds first Ocean & Beach waste processing vessel !

Ocean Resource Management (ORM) have a great story to tell and viable and valid information to pass on to ANYONE who loves the ocean, loves the beach and cares about marine life.

Through tried and tested methods ORM could extract out of the oceans and off the beaches over 1000 tons per week and process the waste on-board the ship in to crude oil, granulated plastic's and biomass fuel pellets.

Marine life is paramount to ORM, so with a fully equipped Med Lab and Marine Clinic the 24/7 standby "Search & Rescue" team can help any injured, entangled or trapped marine life they find.

Starting to clear beaches and oceans is only part of the problem, 10 major rivers have been identified as the source of up to 90% of the ocean waste, what ORM also wants to do, is to stem the flow of waste entering the oceans by anchoring off the coast a barrier system.

ORM have asked The Ocean Clean Up organisation NOT to deploy the system that will freely float around our oceans because of the issues and problems raised by ORM and verified by 15 top scientist that have been asked to investigate any potential problems. The Ocean Clean Up will not answer to any criticism, clarify any details or address any issues that have been raised either by the scientists or Ocean Resource management.

Whilst land based campaigns are in motion to cut down on the use of plastic along with various recycling initiatives, It is painfully obvious that to address the ocean waste problem correctly we must first collectively stem the flow of waste.

The Ocean Clean Up V's ORM ..........or both ?

Ocean Resource Management are planning an expedition to each of the 10 major rivers that contribute up to 90% of the oceans waste, 10 researchers 10 weeks 10 rivers. Future development plans are also in motion for the GPS Tagging campaign of “Ghost nets” The idea being any fishing vessel having to cut loose a net “tag it first” plus with the help of fellow ocean users we plan to give away or hopefully sell $2 waterproof GPS Tags so we can start to understand and monitor the issue to further assess the magnitude of the problem whilst developing an extraction method and process. (but at least we will know where they are) ! Fishermen, divers sailors crew if you cannot extract them yourselves just activate and attach a tag - we will do the rest !
