Play More We love to play This took place at mac (Midlands Art Centre) in July 2011.

Play More was founded by performance artists Antonia Beck and Lucy Nicholls, who met when they were both selected to take part in an artist development performance lab entitled, ‘Playing in Public Spaces’. A number of days were spent discussing, exploring and creating work in a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces at mac, and they drew on each other’s passion for immersive and exploratory performa

nce and play. Since the company’s inception Play More has developed an extended network of associate artists and performed in factories, pubs, city squares and festivals; initially with the in-kind support of Stan’s Cafe Theatre Company and then with commissions by the Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham University.
