FAO all Cadets, parents and NOK. Tonights parade is cancelled, and also the Belgium 2027 meeting.

This is due to Inshore Boating advising water activity in current conditions is a health and safety risk. With Cadet and Volunteer welfare being our top priority, we fully support this decision.

We will advise on Thursdays parade nearer to the time, and communication will be sent out regarding the Belgium trip, a proposal being Tuesday 30th JUNE.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Attention. With the RED weather warning in place, Cadet are advise to ensure their safetly and enjoyment of water activity.

Staff will remove Cadets from activity if required - so ensure you remain hydrated, wear appropriate clothing and apply sun cream.

Last week all the Divisions of Training Ship Vernon went camping!

Our Juniors, Seniors from both Units and Royal Marines headed out into the glorious countryside to camp, cook food, play games and challenge ourselves!

With fires, smores, pizza and some amazing cricket catches our cadets had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors, and there was even some time for a spot of reading.

Thank you to our Volunteers for giving so much so our young people can enjoy camping, some for the first time.

Next year is already booked, with lots of extra activities!
(But no orienteering...😎)
