We’ll be hearing from Graham Brooks, Chair of Warwick Bridge Community Benefit Society in Carlisle, as he asks the question 'Can a watermill be operated profitably today?'

Come along to learn more about the history of the Grade II Listed Warwick Bridge Corn Mill, including its renovation in 2019, and hear Graham's reflections on the successes and challenges the Community Benefit Society has faced over the last 6 years as a community mill and bakery.

As usual, there will be the opportunity to share thoughts, insights, and network following Graham’s talk.

Thousands of people across the UK are involved in community led heritage. Are you one of them?

Maybe there's a historic building in your local area that you wish could be used for the community, or you might already be involved in a community group who is restoring an historic space.

Have you run into unexpected challenges, or do you sometimes feel like you might be on your own?

At the Heritage Network, we can help you. We've got over 1,000 members involved in community led heritage regeneration and we support them through specialist advice, training, and connecting them to other organisations and people who are on the same journey.
