Job opportunity!

Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust are seeking an organised and proactive Built Heritage Project Officer to support the effective delivery of the £1.5m Historic Environment Scotland funded Perth City Heritage Fund. Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust award over £125,000 in funding each year through the Perth City Heritage Fund’s grant programme which helps building owners in Perth protect and repair the city’s historic buildings.

This role would suit someone who wishes to develop their career in building conservation, and a degree or equivalent knowledge in built heritage is preferred.

Lymington and Pennington Town Council is seeking to appoint a Project Manager, a Heritage Consultant, a Consultation and Engagement Consultant, and a Architect / Engineers and Cost Consultant Team for the next stage of the Lymington Sea Water Baths Restoration Project.

The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will develop the technical, heritage, community, market and business evidence required to inform the future restoration and sustainable operation of the Baths.

The site is a significant local and national heritage asset but is affected by deterioration arising from its age, marine exposure and historic repairs.

The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is seeking to commission evaluation consultants to work with them to develop and implement an evaluation framework for the Heritage Revival Fund, a three- to four-year £45 million grants programme focused on historic buildings in town centres in England, funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

The consultants will design and deliver a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan that responds to the objectives of the programme and aligns with the AHF’s broader evaluation strategy.

Deadline for Tender submissions: Tuesday, 1st September 2026.
