December E-News from St Peter's Saltley Trust -

02/10/2023

It was great to meet staff and students at Birmingham Metropolitan College's Fresher's Fayres last week. FE Chaplaincy Ambassador Nigel Roberts created a pop-up reflective space for students to pause, be thankful and think about their hopes and worries for the coming year, and toured it around different campuses over the course of the week. Here's Wednesday's stall at Sutton Coldfield campus, staffed on the day by friends from youth work charity The Feast and St Peter's Saltley Trust. The gingerbread people went down particularly well!

Several of the region's colleges are currently looking to develop chaplaincy - if you want to know more about this hugely fulfilling work, watch WM Churches' FE Council's short introductory videos to FE chaplaincy here, and contact Nigel Roberts ([email protected]) to find out more.
