đźš— Are you a driving instructor in the Black Country?

Have you ever felt that being a self-employed driving instructor can be a bit isolating?

That’s one of the reasons I’ve created Black Country ADIs — an association run by driving instructors, for the benefit of driving instructors.

We’re about bringing instructors together, sharing ideas, supporting each other and helping everyone continue to develop professionally.

🎓 What can you get from being involved?

âś… Regular CPD opportunities
🤝 Meet and network with other local instructors
đź’ˇ Share ideas, experiences and teaching techniques
🗣️ Hear from different guest speakers on subjects relevant to driving instructors
🙌 Support from fellow instructors
đź‘Ą A chance to become part of a local instructor community and reduce the isolation of working for yourself

📱 We also have a FREE WhatsApp group for driving instructors, where you can connect with other local instructors, share information, ask questions and keep up to date with Black Country ADIs.

Our meetings will be held either online via Zoom or in person at West Bromwich Community Centre, depending on the meeting.

đź“… Our next meeting:
Tuesday 15th September
⏰ 7pm – 9pm
đź“Ť West Bromwich Community Centre

đź’· Annual membership: ÂŁ30
🎟️ Non-members: £5 per meeting

Whether you're a PDI, newly qualified ADI, experienced instructor, ORDIT trainer or driving school owner, you're welcome.

👉 Want to find out more or join our FREE WhatsApp group? Just send me a WhatsApp message on 07939627493 and I'll send you the details.

Come along, meet some fellow instructors and see what Black Country ADIs is all about.

Run by driving instructors. For driving instructors. 🚗🤝

“Are you a driving instructor in the Black Country or the surrounding area?
Then I’d love to invite you to our next Black Country ADIs meeting!”
“Whether you’re a PDI, newly qualified ADI, an experienced instructor, an ORDIT trainer or a driving school owner, this is a great opportunity to come along, meet other instructors and become part of a supportive local community.”
“And we’ve got a fantastic guest speaker joining us — Karen Bransgrove.
Karen will be talking about coaching within the driver training industry, CPD for driving instructors, and fleet driver training.
So, there’ll be plenty of ideas, information and practical things you can take away and use in your own business and with your pupils.”
“Being a driving instructor can sometimes feel quite isolated. You’re often working on your own, in your car, day after day.
That’s why Black Country ADIs is about more than just meetings.
It’s about sharing experiences, supporting each other, developing our skills and building a stronger local driving instructor community.”
“So, put the date in your diary:
Tuesday 11th August, 7pm
at the West Bromwich Community Centre.”
“Membership is just £30, or if you’re not a member, you can come along for just £5.
If you’re interested in coming along, simply WhatsApp me on 07939 627493 and let me know.”
“Come along, meet some fellow instructors, learn something new and help us build a stronger driving instructor community across the Black Country.
Black Country ADIs — connect, learn and grow stronger together.
I look forward to seeing you there!”

🚗 Black Country ADIs Meeting – 11th August

Have you ever finished a day's teaching and wished you had another driving instructor to bounce ideas off?

As driving instructors, we spend most of our working lives on our own. We don't have colleagues in the next office. We don't have team meetings. It's easy to feel isolated.

That's exactly why I founded Black Country ADIs.

Over the years I've seen first-hand how bringing instructors together can make a real difference—not just to their businesses, but to their confidence, their teaching and the support they receive from fellow professionals.

Whether you're a PDI, a newly qualified ADI, an experienced instructor, an ORDIT trainer, or you run your own driving school, you'll be made to feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.

You don't need to know anyone.

You certainly won't be standing on your own.

Everyone in the room has one thing in common—we all want to become better driving instructors and help each other succeed.

This month's meeting is one you won't want to miss.

We're delighted to welcome Karen Bransgrove, who'll be sharing her knowledge and experience on:

• Coaching within the driver training industry.
• CPD and developing as a professional instructor.
• Fleet driver training and opportunities that many instructors never hear about.

These aren't just interesting topics—they're practical ideas you can take straight back into your lessons and use with your learners.

Imagine leaving the meeting with new coaching techniques that make your pupils think for themselves...

A better understanding of professional development...

And perhaps even discovering new opportunities to grow your income through fleet work.

That's what these meetings are all about.

Now, I know some people might be thinking...

"It's a bit too far."

"I don't know anyone."

"I'm not sure it'll be worth it."

If that's you, I'd encourage you to come along just once.

Introduce yourself.

Have a coffee.

Chat to a few local instructors.

I genuinely believe you'll leave wondering why you didn't come sooner.

Black Country ADIs isn't about egos or competition.

It's about building a professional community where instructors support each other, share ideas and raise standards across the industry.

đź“…Tuesday 11th August

đź•– 7.00 pm

đź“Ť West Bromwich Community Centre

Annual membership is ÂŁ30, or if you'd just like to come along and see what it's all about, non-members are very welcome for just ÂŁ5.

If you'd like to join us, simply send a WhatsApp message to 07939 627493 and reserve your place.

Bring a fellow instructor if you like.

The more people who attend, the more we all learn.

I'd love to welcome you personally on the evening, and I hope this is the start of you becoming part of a growing community that's passionate about supporting driving instructors throughout the Black Country.

See you on Tuesday 11th August.
