👏We were were lucky to have an excellent team of presenters and great group of Lions, all keen to learn and exchange ideas.

Our communities are full of remarkable young people aged 15–19 who are quietly changing lives—leading youth groups, running environmental cleanups, or supporting the vulnerable. As Lions, it is our privilege to lift them up!

challenges every club to look out into your local area, connect with schools, scouts, and youth centres, and sponsor a candidate for this year's Young Ambassador Competition.

By sponsoring a young leader, you give them a platform to win project bursaries, boost their skills, and potentially represent the British Isles at the Europa Forum!

Do You Want To Become a Certified Guiding Lion?

This is a LIVE workshop open to:

Any Lion interested in becoming a certified Guiding Lion

Any existing Guiding Lion needing to review their certification

Any existing Guiding Lion wanting to sharpen/refresh their skills

Becoming a Certified Guiding Lion gives you the opportunity to develop a new skill set and help clubs in their quest for success and growth

You could play a vital part in the development of a club and your District

Join GLT Coordinator, Lion Ralph Watson and MD GLT Lead, PCC Stu Young for this interactive and fun workshop aimed at enabling you to support and guide clubs on their journey

It's open to any Lions member at any level. Best of all, this is a LIVE workshop so you can network, share your ideas and get answers to your questions in person

Successful completion of the workshop will earn you certification as a Guiding Lion, eligible for assignment to an appropriate Lions Club in our District where required. You could be performing a vital service to your fellow Lions.

Date: Saturday 10th October 2026

Timing: 10am for a 10.30 start and finish by 3pm

Venue: Rugby Methodist Church Centre
(free parking on site)

Tea, coffee, biscuits will be provided

🦁Club Officer Workshop (Repeat) 🦁

The clock is ticking for you to book YOUR place

The Club Officers Workshop is coming up on Saturday 19th September from 10am to 12 noon. This workshop is open to ALL Lions members, including:

New Club Officers who want to do the best job they can in their new role

Experienced Club Officers who want to be fully up to date with what's new and different in their role

Any member interested in know what's involved in these roles so that they can better support their clubs in service

There will be sessions with experienced Lions on:

Club President - what is your role and how can you serve and support your club?

Club Treasurer - staying compliant and ensuring dues etc are paid on time

Club Secretary - What is your role in the support and administration of your club?

Membership Chair - How do we gain - and retain - Lions members

We also have an additional session with our GST Coordinator for Service Chairs on service opportunities and reporting service on the portal
