Today, we held our Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Sandwell & West Birmingham Branch AGM at MMUH, with members joining us both in person and online.

It was a fantastic, interactive session, providing an opportunity for members to come together, share ideas, discuss the branch and look towards the future. It was great to see such engagement and enthusiasm from our members. 💙
We will soon be welcoming our new Branch Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, who will help lead and support the branch as we continue to grow and strengthen our presence across Sandwell and West Birmingham.

Following the AGM , we also had an RCN information and recruitment stand, where members and colleagues could find out more about RCN activism, getting involved, and the benefits of RCN membership.

Overall, it was a really positive and productive day for our branch , a great opportunity to connect, share ideas and celebrate the work being done across our nursing community.

Here’s to an exciting new chapter for the Sandwell & West Birmingham RCN Branch! 💙🙌

Today, we welcomed our first-year student nurses to Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as they begin their exciting nursing journey. 🩺💙

Stacey had the opportunity to speak with the students about the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), highlighting the learning opportunities, professional support and resources available to them throughout their studies and future careers.

It was lovely to meet our newest student nurses and help them understand the support available to them from the very beginning of their journey.

We wish you all the very best as you start this exciting chapter, we’re looking forward to supporting you along the way! 🌟👏
