The Polish flag flew at Exeter Guildhall as a symbolic tribute to the Polish airmen of No. 307 Polish Night Fighter Squadron, known as the "Lwów Eagle Owls", who defended the city during the German blitz in 1942.
Thank you 307 Squadron Project for organising this magnificent annual event.

🇵🇱 27 września 1939 roku powstało Polskie Państwo Podziemne.

W czasie okupacji Polacy stworzyli własne struktury państwowe: armię, administrację, sądy i szkolnictwo – wszystko po to, by Polska nigdy nie zniknęła.

Dziś pamiętamy o bohaterach, którzy z narażeniem życia walczyli o wolność i godność narodu.

Cześć i chwała Bohaterom! ✝️🇵🇱
