When Sarah came to us, she was carrying a weight that felt impossible to bear. Through the support of our advice service, she was able to access the help she needed and secure greater stability for herself and her family.

In the past year alone, more than 400 people have received support through our advice service, and demand continues to grow.

A food parcel can provide immediate relief, but for many people, the challenges don't end there.

Behind the need for emergency food are often deeper issues: debt, benefit problems, rising costs, and unexpected life events that can leave people struggling to cope.

That's why, alongside food support, we provide access to expert debt and benefits advice through our partners at Birmingham Settlement.

The right advice at the right time can help someone increase their income, manage debt, access support they're entitled to, and begin to move beyond crisis.
To keep this service running through September and October, we need to raise £8,549.

But what about next week? Or next month?

Alongside emergency food support, we work with Birmingham Settlement to provide expert debt and benefits advice. For many people, this can be the difference between an ongoing crisis and a more stable future.

Over the years, this service has helped hundreds of people access benefits they were entitled to, manage debt, increase their income, and navigate difficult circumstances.

We now face a funding gap this autumn and need to raise £8,549 to keep our full-time advisor in post through September and October.
