We were founded in 1962, and are a Registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee, affiliated to Mind. Our Board of Trustees are responsible for ensuring that we meet our charitable aims and objectives. Our Services are individualised, person centred and deliver valued outcomes, as we passionately believe that everyone has the right to live lives that are meaningful and which enable them to

reach their full potential as individuals. We work in active partnership with a range of local organisations to deliver services and challenge the stigma that surrounds mental distress. Birmingham Mind has:

The highest level (Level 3) rating from National Mind for our quality standards. Excellent inspection ratings from the Care Quality Commission for our Residential Care Homes. Out-of-hours crisis, wellbeing support and signpostingβ˜•

On Sip and Support Sundays, you’ll find:

πŸƒ A calm and supportive environment
πŸƒ Access to our experienced Helpline team for signposting and support
πŸƒ Access to our crisis intervention team for immediate or crisis support
πŸƒ Drop In service – no appointment needed
πŸƒ Free refreshments
πŸƒ Quiet and safe space
πŸƒ Free wellbeing activities

We understand that accessing mental health support outside of traditional hours can be difficult.

Our established service is designed to bridge that gap and provide a welcoming space for those who need support and advice over the weekend.

Our Crisis Intervention service, Talking Space, will continue to operate as usual from 5pm – 11pm.

Are you looking for a new adventure this autumn πŸ‚

Join Birmingham Mind as we take on the stunning Edale & Hope Valley Skyline Challenge in the heart of the Peak District.

This demanding 32km (20 mile) trek will take participants across some of the Peak District’s most iconic routes and landscapes, including Kinder Scout, Mam Tor, the Great Ridge, and Lose Hill, before finishing back in the beautiful village of Hope.

With breath-taking views, rewarding climbs, and the support of fully trained hike leaders throughout the day, this is a challenge not to be missed.
