We're incredibly proud and thrilled to see that MFY's Accelerando programme is a finalist for Music & Drama Education Awards’ Outstanding Musical Initiative!

Generously funded by the Neville Abraham Foundation, Accelerando aims to address the national emergency in music education by building the confidence of non-specialist teachers to deliver inspirational music education, leveraging a unique opportunity for their pupils to perform a newly commissioned BBC Ten Pieces piece at the Music for Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall this November.

Thank you Music Teacher Magazine and congratulations to the rest of the finalists, including our friends over at ABRSM, Music Mark, Open Up Music and the National Open Youth Orchestra!
