Alhamdolillah, our advert has begun its year long journey on a Glasgow bus, travelling across several routes as part of a 12 month campaign. With the Commonwealth Games bringing movement and diversity to the city, well over 1 million people are expected to see it. Allah says: “And My mercy encompasses all things.” May this message be a small reflection of that mercy.
We are immensely grateful to the sponsor whose donation of thousands of pounds made this possible. Their generosity echoes the Qur’anic invitation: “Who is it that will lend to Allah a goodly loan, which He will multiply for him many times over?” May Allah place tranquillity in their heart, barakah in their home, and light in their path. May this act of charity become a continuous stream of reward that flows long after the campaign ends, and inspire us all to do likewise.
May this campaign bring comfort, curiosity, and connection to hearts across the city - touching the quiet corners of people’s lives, stirring questions that lead to truth, and offering a moment of peace in a world that often feels overwhelming. May it weave its way into the daily rhythm of Glasgow (& beyond), becoming a source of light for those who see it and a reminder that Allah’s compassion surrounds us in ways we may not always notice.
