We are delighted to celebrate an outstanding set of GCSE results across our Foundation schools. From exceptional numbers of top grades and record attainment figures to students achieving multiple grade 9s, these achievements reflect the dedication, hard work and ambition of our young people.

🌱 Giving back to our community!

For the second year in a row, King Edward VI Foundation colleagues Julie Waddington, Clare Stanton and Joe Millington volunteered at a Ground Force Day hosted by The Education Exchange West Midlands. Working alongside teams from Summit Learning Trust and Robin Hood Multi Academy Trust, they helped transform Two Gates Community Primary School through gardening, painting and site improvement projects.

We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the positive impact made for the school community. Thank you to everyone involved. We look forward to supporting this fantastic initiative for many years to come!

The Foundation is now recognised as a strong and credible school improvement organisation, thanks in part to the strength of our partnerships.

Over the last five years, we have expanded our family of schools, secured commitments for two new school buildings, strengthened governance, established partnerships with six primary schools and created new professional development opportunities for staff.

These achievements reflect the power of collaboration and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

🏆 🎉 Exciting news!

We are thrilled to share that 'Delivering Hope: The 6888 Project' has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Social Project of the Year category at the APM Project Management Awards 2026.

This Foundation-wide creative arts and education project honoured the legacy of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, bringing together seven schools within the Foundation, creative practitioners and more than 250 pupils through dance, spoken word, visual art and curriculum design.

The project celebrated overlooked local and Black history while building confidence, creativity and collaboration across the Foundation, culminating in a powerful performance, exhibition and lasting educational legacy.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved, especially project manager Jenny Adey, artistic director Clare Palethorpe, participating pupils, staff and creative partners.

Next up, we’ll be presenting virtually to the judges in September before heading to London for the awards ceremony on 16 November.

🎓 Outstanding A Level results across the King Edward VI Foundation!

With nearly half of all provisional A Level grades A*/A, record numbers progressing to Medicine and Dentistry, strong vocational and technical level results with top grades achieved in a variety of subjects, and students securing Oxbridge and international places and other first-choice destinations, this year's results from across our schools have brought out some truly exceptional stories.

Our grammar schools continue to outperform national averages, it looks like KEHS will once again be the top performing independent school for A Levels in the region, and the total pass rates across the Foundation remain above 97%.
