✨ Celebrating an empowering African and Caribbean Society Conference.
On 22 June, students from across the King Edward VI Foundation joined the African and Caribbean Society Conference 2026 at King Edward VI High School for Girls for a powerful day of learning and reflection. Led by Miss Dominique McKee and Miss Dionne McKee, the event featured inspiring speakers, interactive sessions and engaging Urban Synergy workshops.
Students from a variety of our schools participated and listened to a panel discussion from speakers Dr Charlene Rose, Dr Safiya Hamis, R’mar Murray, Karen Bailey, Chevy Green and Darnell Depradine, exploring important topics around identity, representation and belonging, finishing with a thought-provoking panel discussion.
An inspiring day that encouraged every young person to feel seen, heard and empowered.
