We had a fantastic day out on 18th June at Bournville Village Cricket Club 🏏

Pupils from Green Meadow Primary School joined children from The Meadows and Hillstone Primary School for a fun-filled day of cricket, teamwork and learning.

Delivered as part of our Primary Partnerships Programme with the support of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, the activities helped build confidence, skills and a real love for the game.

It was great to see everyone getting involved, supporting each other and enjoying such a positive experience together 👏

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special!

⚽️ Celebrating an extraordinary sporting achievement at King Edward VI Kings Norton School for Boys

Our Year 8 football team has completed a truly remarkable, unbeaten treble-winning season, becoming just the second team in Birmingham schools’ history at this age group to achieve such success!

Their journey included:

• A thrilling 5–3 victory in the George Welford Federation Trophy final at Aston Villa Training Ground
• A dominant 5–2 win to secure the West Midlands Cup
• An impressive 8–3 triumph in the South Birmingham Cup

Throughout the season, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience and technical ability, establishing themselves as one of the region’s strongest school sides.

Congratulations to all players and staff involved in this outstanding accomplishment – a proud moment for our whole school community.

We’re proud to celebrate the end of a fantastic 3-year partnership with Grestone Academy 💙

Over this time, pupils have taken part in 30+ inspiring activities, including masterclasses and experiences designed to build confidence and broaden horizons, via our Primary Partnership Programme.

It’s been wonderful to see the difference this has made - with Year 5 pupils rating the visits 4.16 out of 5 for helping them feel more prepared for secondary school.

A huge thank you to the staff, pupils, and partners who made this journey so special. We’re so proud of everything achieved together and wish all pupils the very best for their next steps 🌟
