**Child Poverty across East Birmingham**

New figures have revealed the scale of Birmingham’s child poverty crisis, with six of the 10 worst neighbourhoods in England for child poverty located in the city.

The Heartlands area ranks joint second nationally, with a shocking 66% of children living below the poverty line. Alum Rock follows in fourth place at 64%, while Bordesley Green and Small Heath rank fifth and sixth with 63% and 62% respectively with Ward End, also featuring in the national top 10, each recording a child poverty rate of 60%.

Ladywood remains the worst parliamentary constituency in the country for child poverty, while Hodge Hill and Solihull North is also poorπŸ“

Urgent action is needed to
Support families as they struggle with the cost of living and putting food on the table.

Incident over the weekend in Bordesley Green

🚨 URGENT: NEED YOUR HELP – ANY CCTV / INFORMATION NEEDED 🚨

Last night, in the early hours, my home was targeted in a vicious, cowardly attack.

Every window in my house and all our family cars were smashed – while we were all asleep inside. Only low-life scumbags would do something so cruel and spineless.

These people need to be caught and brought to justice. I am begging anyone who can help:

βœ… If you saw or heard anything suspicious
βœ… If you have ANY CCTV, doorbell cam, dashcam footage – even 5 seconds, even if it looks useless
βœ… Any information at all, no matter how small

Please message me directly or comment below. Every little bit helps get these scum off our streets.

Please share this post far and wide. Thank you all – I really appreciate it πŸ™

An outdoor food court in Birmingham has been served with a stop trading notice.

Dismayed locals staged frequent protests outside the Rock Park, off Adderley Road in Alum Rock, after it opened up earlier this month.

Despite a council confirmation about the absence of "valid planning permission in place to change the area’s use into a food court", the fast food vendors continued to dish up.
