What a wonderful afternoon at Aston Councillor Mumtaz Hussain’s event for women, elderly women and carers! 🌸💜

It was lovely to see women from across the community, coming together to enjoy friendship, food, conversation and social connection.

Councillor Mumtaz goes above and beyond for her residents, creating opportunities like this that help bring women out of their homes, reduce isolation and loneliness, and support positive mental wellbeing. ❤️

New Hope Global were delighted to be invited along to promote our services and speak with local women about energy advice, wellbeing services, saving money on household energy & costs and practical tips to help reduce energy costs. 💡🏡

A huge thank you to Councillor Mumtaz Hussain for continuing to champion local residents and create welcoming spaces where women can connect, feel supported and access valuable information.

☕ Chai, Chat & Wellbeing 💜

Another successful awareness-raising workshop at our Chai, Chat & Wellbeing group.

Today’s session focused on child bereavement, raising awareness of the support available for families following the loss of a child and support for children experiencing loss/grief. Arts & crafts used as a medium

It was an emotional but valuable session, and we thank all the women who attended for taking part and for their contributions. New Hope Youth Group were invited to attend a youth conference at Aston Villa Foundation on Saturday. The event was such an encouraging experience, we are incredibly proud of our youth group, and seeing the group develop so much confidence was such a wonderful feeling. The young people represented our community and our organisation with confidence, respect, and passion, and I couldn’t have been prouder.

Watching them speak on stage and serve as panel members showed just how much they have grown in confidence, and it filled our hearts with gratitude.

Our young people are truly inspiring and are tomorrow’s leaders. I can’t wait to see all they will continue to achieve.
