2nd Smiths Wood Scout Group Scout Group (Beavers and Cubs) for Smiths Wood Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart.

Here we want to inform you about The Scout Association and the Group in Smiths Wood. It's exciting being involved with us. We believe that through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives.We offer hundreds of activities, as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, staged performance, paragliding, and archery. There’s s

omething for every young person, whatever their physical ability.Hiking in the dark. Travelling across Poland with just a backpack and three friends. Spending the first night away from home. You can do it all with The Scout Association.Activities are an integral part of Scouting. But as well as being challenging physically, our activities help young people set and achieve goals and grow in confidence.

If you want to watch the eclipse on Wednesday but haven't been able to get a proper pair of glasses for it, try making this viewing box instead!
Remember not to look at the sun directly, even during the eclipse, as it could damage your eyes 😲

Our Group mascots Beaver Bear & Tigger are looking forward to tomorrow's end-of-term party!
In case anyone didn't get the text, we're starting at 6pm for both sections, and going through to 7.30pm.
There will be a disco and party games, and everyone can bring a small plate of snacks for themselves.
