The aim is to transform a once overgrown plot of land into a community garden with support from local residents, schools & Sure Start Centre, to grow food organically and develop an attractive, wildlife rich space for learning about sustainability. The aim of the community garden is to bring people together through growing vegetables, herbs and fruit using organic methods, learn about living more

sustainably, and celebrating this wildlife oasis in an inner-city neighbourhood. Since 2009 we have created raised beds and poly-tunnel for growing vegetables, built a wildlife pond, developed a rock garden, chequer-board garden, herb spiral and woodland walk.
