In challenging weather today, employees from Webasto Roof Systems, Minworth, joined our hardy Evergreen Gardening group to plant a new hedge at the back of our sheep/goat field.
The tree saplings were courtesy of The Woodland Trust. We hope it'll eventually hide the back of the ugly bin store, create a separation between the livestock and stuff they shouldn't eat and provide habitat and food for wildlife.
Of course we promptly had to erect a livestock fence or the goats would eat the hedge tomorrow!

We're dreaming of a GREEN Christmas!

This year we are proud to be partnering with ecobirmingham to put on our Christmas event! It will be held on Together St Paul's Malvern St. site (B12 8NN) and has a Green focus this year!

Expect the usual tasty and reasonable food from the kitchen, facepainting, Farm preserves for sale, composting info and demo and the great environmental activities and information that ecobirmingham will deliver. All that and a "Green Santa" too!
