University of Birmingham Sign Language Society runs weekly lessons which follows the Level 1 course content in British Sign Language, with the opportunity to take the qualification. to become a member go to : http://www.guildofstudents.com/studentgroups/societies/talkinghands/

The society runs a level 1 course in British Sign Language. The course is a year long and involves a 2.5 hour lesson each

week, totaling 67.5 hours of tuition. There are 3 exams throughout the year (which are optional), and if all have been passed, you will gain a certified qualification in BSL level 1.
