As part of the Neighbourhood Futures Festival we are hosting a Community Picnic from 3pm on 26th June!

Bring a blanket and a picnic or get a sandwich from the Red Shed Community Cafe (curry and samosas also available) enjoy nature activities, sports and classic games, an African-Jamaican dance experience at 4.30pm and Campfire Open Mic from 5pm-6.30pm.

There will also be a community marketplace and Reservoir Walk with The Friends of Edgbaston Reservoir LNR

Are you looking for a summer opportunity? Perhaps you'd like to help out at the Neighbourhood Futures Festival! 💚

We're seeking volunteers that are able to get stuck in to ensuring our festival is the best it can be!

In return we can offer a friendly welcome, refreshments and drinks, cover travel expenses and provide valuable skills and events experience - as well as a great time doing something meaningful!

If you can offer a full day on one or more of Friday 26th, Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th June, we'd love to hear from you.

💜 This week was volunteers week, to say thank you to the amazing volunteers across Birmingham Settlement we hosted a picnic at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre! 😊

From assisting in our charity shops to site maintenance, activity support, caring for our spaces, leading sessions, admin work and much more, our brilliant volunteers are a vital help to our work and we couldn't do it without them! 🧩

Volunteers enjoyed a picnic with the chance to meet one another, play games and explore the site. 💜
