This is what community is all about

It’s young people, local businesses, community groups, volunteers and people who care coming together to support one another. A huge congratulations to Uplift on the opening of Little Treasures and on such a wonderful community day.

At Three Trees, we welcome everyone with open arms. We don’t focus on what divides us; we celebrate the diversity of our community and all the people who make it special.

When we support one another, we all grow stronger. Let’s keep showing up for our local people, groups and businesses.

Another lovely afternoon with our Honeybees at Three Trees!

We've been making the most of the autumn weather in our community garden, with our four-legged friend Archie joining us too!

We've been busy collecting apples from our trees so they don't go to waste. They're there for anyone popping into the centre to help themselves to.

We're also hoping to turn some into a lovely homemade apple crumble next week. Waste not, want not!

One of our Honeybees took charge of mowing the grass, while the others were busy collecting leaves and enjoying some arts and crafts.

It's lovely to see everyone getting involved, learning new skills and taking pride in our garden.

If you know anyone who would benefit from joining our lovely Honeybees group, please pop into Three Trees and have a chat with Tracey. We're always happy to welcome new faces!

Halloween is creeping up on us!

Not everybody likes a knock at the door on Halloween night, and that's absolutely fine!

We have some FREE 'No Trick or Treaters' posters available at Three Trees Community Centre.

If you'd rather not have any spooky visitors knocking at your door, pop in and pick one up to put in your window.

Let's make Halloween fun for everyone while respecting those who don't want to take part!

Last Wednesday we had the wonderful launch of Chelmund & Other Stories here at Three Trees

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress and spend the evening surrounded by lovely food, local history and magical stories.

Chelmsley Wood Library created a fantastic display for the book, almost like a little portal into the story itself — with shadows, woodland tales and a touch of magic.

We were also so pleased to sell lots of copies on the night.

If you would like your own copy, you can buy one from Three Trees Community Centre, or borrow one from Chelmsley Wood Library or Solihull Library.

Bringing the last little bit of summer inside Three Trees

Our lovely Honeybees have been busy creating these beautiful flower designs for our community board using flowers and leaves from the garden.

We also celebrated Chloe’s birthday — because there’s always room for a bit of cake at Honeybees!

Honeybees is our friendly group for adults with learning disabilities, with gardening, creativity, friendship and plenty of laughs along the way.

If you know someone who might enjoy coming along, please get in touch with us.

Just a little update to let everyone know that unfortunately we won’t be walking tomorrow due to an injury! (Not caused during the group 😀)

So there will be no walking group for the next two weeks.

We’ll miss our little Wednesday walks, chats and cuppa, but we’ll be back before you know it!
