Meet Gareth Griffiths

Gareth first fundraised for us in 2019, he did our abseil, our wing-walk, but now he’s undertaken somethings different entirely - an art show.

Under his AMPjam Poster Con poster convention he has assembled a group of 60 movie poster artists from around the world to create pieces for a unique show at The Jointworks in the Jewellery Quarter.

It kicks off this Friday and is free to attend. The artworks will be auctioned off online after the show and all profits will go towards helping us support grieving parents children and young people.

Gareth created this art show in memory of his school friend, Connor Maher a popular well-loved Worcester musician who died in a tragic accident in 2025. Gareth met Connor at secondary school and over the years they played gigs on the same bill many times.

The art show will be a fantastic event with art talks, stalls and a gallery of 70 new artworks created especially. Plus, if you listen out, you’ll hear Connor’s beautiful music from time to time.

We are honoured to have Gareth fundraise for us, wish him the best of luck and look forward to attending the event this Friday.

We fully support the PM’s recent post in respect of recognising the loss of a baby before 24 weeks and the impact this has.

The loss of a baby at any stage is heartbreaking and parents need time to process this without the pressure of having to return to work after a few days.

It is reassuring to see that this level of loss is being recognised at a national level and we hope this will help raise awareness of the devastating impact that the loss of a baby can have.

It may be harder than ever to deliver our services face-to-face, but the results speak for themselves.

By prioritising delivering our services at Calthorope Road, we are able to:

When so many services are online, we have remained face-to-face because we know this approach can change lives.
