This is a note of appreciation from the Head Teacher of Hijaldiha Primary School in Hijaldiha village of Bankura district. Vidyapith granted Rs. 73,600 (Seventy Three Thousand Six Hundred Indian Rupees) for the provision of purified drinking water supply. Professor Sugata Ghosh, Brunel University, UK (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008465621117) kindly donated a lumpsum towards the cost of this project in the loving memory of his father, Professor Birendranath Ghosh, to celebrate his life on the occasion of the 25th year of his sad and early demise on 26th May, 2001.

This project, supervised by Mr. Chinmay Das (https://www.facebook.com/chinmay.das.104), has been fully funded by a donation of Rs. 1,76,000 from Dr. Arup Chowdhury (https://www.facebook.com/arup.chaudhuri1) of Gloucester, UK, in loving memory of his deceased wife Dr. Mira Chowdhury (our Mira-di).

Water supply in a primary school (Raj Kumar Bhowmick Prathamik Vidyalaya, Ichapur) with a modest grant of only Rs. 44,396 from Vidyapith. The project is being supervised by Mr. Shimanta Guhathakurta, Teacher, New Barrackpore Colony Boys’ High School Simanto Guhathakurta.

Following our previous post on 17th July (https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122312980736011903&set=pcb.122312981840011903), we are pleased that the new stage in Sargachi High School is complete under the supervision of Mr. Chinmay Das https://www.facebook.com/chinmay.das.104 , and in full use now. See the attached photo from the Teachers' Day (5th September) celebration, when this was inaugurated. Once again, we would like to share our gratitude to Swapna-di (Swapna Ghosh from Birmingham) for her kind donation in memory of our beloved Pranab-da (Dr. Pranab Ghosh). We really are extremely grateful to all our donors for all their contributions.

Mr. Shimanta Guhathakurta, Simanto Guhathakurta Teacher, New Barrackpore Colony Boys’ High School, delivered a cheque to Mr. Surajit Barua Surajit Barua, Head Teacher of Raj Kumar Bhowmick Prathamik Vidyalaya, Ichapur on behalf of Vidyapith earlier today; Vidyapith provided a grant of Rs.44,396 to this school for their drinking water supply system.

Hasnecha High School (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100094342155060) recently set up a science lab with a grant of Rs. 1,07,772 (One Lakh Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Two Indian Rupees), from Vidyapith. The project was initiated and supervised by Krishnendu Deb.

This computer room has recently been set up in Sri Ma Sarada Sishu Niketan, run and administered by Hijaldiha Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Hijaldiha, Bankura. We sincerely thank Sobhan Banerjee who kindly supervised this project.

We recently provided a grant to Sarada Vidyalaya Matriculation School, run and administered by Sri Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, for installing five computers. We sincerely thank Swami Nityadipananda Maharaj, Adhyaksha, RKM Madurai and
