ISRA-UK Update Report: Yemen.

It has dropped out of the headlines, but families there still depend on food assistance to get through each day.

We're working with our partners on the ground to reach them. Food comes first. Stability is the next step.

Clean water is the first thing a family asks for. It's the first thing we deliver.

Our trucks of clean water have gone into the field, and the work continues.

Yemen is facing one of the world’s most serious humanitarian crises.

More than **18 million people are facing acute food insecurity** — but behind that number are real families: mothers skipping meals so their children can eat, and fathers walking miles in search of safe drinking water.

Yemen is a country I first came to know many years ago, and I have never forgotten the warmth and hospitality of its people.

Through our **Yemen Not Forgotten** appeal, ISRA-UK is helping provide food and clean water to families who need it most.

But we cannot do it alone.

💧 £6.50 can provide 100 litres
💧 £65 can provide 1,000 litres

At the very beginning of my two decades of humanitarian work, I witnessed a reality that changed my life forever. This glimpse into my early journey captures a moment that set the path for everything that followed.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Whoever does not thank people has not thanked Allah."
Sometimes the easiest words to say are also the ones we forget: "Thank you."
Take a moment today to appreciate someone who has made a difference in your life. You may never know how much those words mean to them.

💧 When was the last time you turned on a tap without thinking?

Most of us do it every day.

To fill a kettle.
Wash our hands.
Pour a glass of water.

Without giving it a second thought.

For this young girl in Gaza, it's different.

Every empty container she carries represents another journey in the hope of finding clean water.

Something most of us barely notice is something many families are desperately searching for.

For just £6.50, you can help provide 100 litres of clean water to families in Gaza.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us work towards our goal of delivering up to 1 million litres of clean water to those who need it most.

If you're able, please help turn gratitude into action today.
