There will be an Event for Women and Young Girls to be held at British Pashtoon House Hobmoor Rd Small Heath B10 9BU on Sunday 14th June 2026 at 5.30pm

The Event is organised by
Consular Section | British Deputy High Commission, Karachi, Pakistan and in attendance will 2 Ladies from Pakistan Consular Regional Operations (Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan) at British High Commission Islamabad and Karachi

Part of a program is engagement with British-Pakistani diaspora on consular issues.

Consular assistance refers to the support the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) offers to British nationals who encounter difficulties while living or travelling abroad.

The Main Purpose of the Meeting is:

As members of the team who provide such support to British nationals in Pakistan, Alice and I are keen to engage with members of the British Pakistani diaspora to better understand the consular issues affecting them and further their understanding of how the FCDO can support them.

Through these engagements, we aim to:

Strengthen the FCDO’s understanding of the challenges faced by those travelling to Pakistan Work collaboratively with the community to identify opportunities to prevent such issues and Improve awareness within the community of consular support available, particularly for dual nationals Communicate how British nationals can best access consular assistance while in Pakistan

We are reaching out to you as we would highly value your views as a trusted community contact on how best to approach this work.
