With temperatures this week possibly averaging 35°c please consider the premises you are meeting in and whether it is wise to meet. A lot of schools are doing early pick ups this week . You may have youngsters and leaders who struggle with heat and regulating. I know of two companies that have said they aren’t meeting due to the heat .. if you do meet, make sure you offer plenty of fluids and breaks .. Thanks Ab

A visit to Shirley Methodist Church this evening, home of the 35th Birmingham Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association. Lovely evening making blackberry and chocolate chip muffins ( absolute chaos, but that’s what makes it all the more fun) thanks Nick Mund and Tim Watts

It is with sadness, that I have to inform you that Andrew Fereday former member of the 22nd Boys’ Brigade and former captain of the 15th Birmingham Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association passed away suddenly this morning. Andrew was fairly young (in his 30s I believe) so it’s come as a huge shock to all that knew him. RIP Andrew 🙏.
