Over at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre, we are planning for the final phase of development... introducing the Green Barn 💚

With our current indoor facilities of the Red Shed cafe and geodesic domes, we are unable to accommodate larger groups of people during periods of adverse weather. With the extreme heat or heavy rain we have been seeing, a dedicated indoor activity space is much needed and will make a huge difference to our community offer. 🧩

With construction set to begin in November, upon completion the Green Barn will allow us to host even more activities and events, welcome larger community groups such as schools, continue providing sessions and support through periods of bad weather, and offer another community hub in the heart of Ladywood. 🌎

With part funding secured, planning permission in place, and plans drawn up, we need your support to take us over the finish line! We are currently crowdfunding and every penny makes a difference. 🌿

We are extremely grateful for your support and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Green Barn upon completion!

Thank you to 1000 Trades on the Park for an amazing Big Summer Quiz with Stuart Maconie on Sunday 💜

With a great turnout, lots of vital funds were raised for Birmingham Settlement which will go towards building our Green Barn activity space at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre, the final piece of the puzzle! 🧩

Stride for the Settlement is fast approaching! 💜

Join us on 12th September for a 5k or 10k sponsored run or walk around the Edgbaston Reservoir. 🏃🏼‍♀️

You will be helping to raise vital funds towards building the Green Barn - the final addition to the Nature & Wellbeing Centre. 🧩

They have chosen us as beneficiaries of their Big Summer Quiz with Stuart Maconie of 6 Music Fame! 👏

The Community Garden at the Kingstanding Sports & Community Centre is coming along nicely! 💜

Our Garden & Grow volunteer group have been working hard to transform the rear field into a space for planting and growing a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. 🌱

So far, we have harvested green beans, tomatoes, and strawberries 🍓
