We had such a lovely day on Monday, because we had the opportunity to take one of the precious women we support to for her birthday treat 🎂 we had so much fun seeing all the animals, and her personal favourite were the monkeys and lizards!
One of the best things about Embrace is that we get to bless and celebrate these women to show them just how loved they are ❤️

Every Easter we love to bless the women we support with a chocolate Easter Egg to remind each woman how loved she is at this time of year when we remember the love of Jesus who would give everything for us

We are overjoyed because yesterday we were able to baptise two incredible women who have moved from a life of addiction to a life of freedom with Jesus! This is why we do what we do, praise God 🙌 We’re so proud of them both for their resilience, strength and faith
We’re so grateful to have been able to support them along the journey - we pray these are the first of many baptisms for women we support!

We’re supporting a couple women at the moment who have recently been moved into new homes that are completely empty, and they need help getting all the bits together that are needed to make a house into a liveable home!

On the 28th February, Renewal Church Solihull will be hosting Embrace at their Woman to Woman Live Lounge evening at 6:30pm
This will be a special evening to worship, pray, and connect with other women across the West Midlands with delicious canapés and drinks, plus it’s a fantastic opportunity to find out a bit more about the work of Embrace!

Last night we had the privilege of delivering induction training to a cohort of 10 potential volunteers across Coventry and Birmingham - it has been so beautiful to see a huge increase recently in people wanting to get involved to serve women selling s*x on the streets ❤️
Our highlight of the training is always an exercise where we write the words the woman might speak over themselves, and then cover them with post-it notes bearing the words God speaks over them. We’re struck every time we run the training by God’s amazing love for the marginalised and broken

Embrace runs on volunteers - it’s our fabulous volunteers that make regular outreach possible, bringing light to the darkest places in our city and walking with the women we support towards Jesus!

Wow! We had such a precious time packing our Christmas Goodie Bags on Monday and, thanks to your generosity, we have put together 35 bags full to the brim with cosy blankets, boxes of chocolates, warm gloves and scarves, luxurious toiletry gift sets, bibles and Christian magazines, colouring books and more! Each bag also contains a handwritten card filled with encouragements and bible verses to show her just how precious she is to us and to God.
We are so looking forward to blessing many of the women we know in Birmingham with these wonderful bags; on Monday one of the women we support said she always looks forward to the Embrace Christmas Goodie Bag because it’s the only Christmas present she gets. These gifts spread the message that these women are seen, known and worthy of love 🧡

We want to say a massive thank you to the students from who came to help us pack the bags, write cards, and wrap some of the presents! You were fantastic and we so appreciate the help!

Every year at Christmas time Embrace collects gifts and treats to create a goodie bag full of beautiful presents to give to the women we support. Embrace supports women at risk of exploitation, particularly those who sell s*x on the streets. Christmas can be an extremely lonely and difficult time for the women we support. Donating a gift is one small way that you can show these women that they are loved and precious 🧡
