Food packs will be distributed amongst the disadvantaged families. One food pack is for only £30 which will help feed a family for the entire month so that they can spend the blessed month of Ramadan without having to worry about food supply.

HFS AID QURBANI PROJECT 2024

The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no action that the son of Adam does on the Day of Sacrifice more beloved to Allah than sacrificing an animal.” (Al-Hakim, Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi)

HFS Aid was able to provide over 200 deserving families with fresh meat during the days of Eid al Adha. This was only possible through the generosity of our donors.

HFS AID QURBANI PROJECT 2024

With your support HFS Aid was able to provide over 200 deserving families with fresh meat during the days of Eid al Adha in District Mirpur. For many of the beneficiaries this is the only meat they consume for the entire year.

This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the generosity of our donors.

WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY 2024

HFS Aid organised a workshop in association with Regional Blood Transfusion Centre (RBC) on the importance of donating blood. Students from various medical colleges of Azad Kashmir attended the workshop on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.

Surgical Specialist Dr Latif Gohar, Dr Zahida Qasim, Dr Maria Zulfiqar and Dr Akhlaaq Wazeer gave lectures to the students on the importance of blood donation. HFS Aid aims to raise awareness in society to donate blood to children suffering from thalassaemia.

WORLD THALASSAEMIA DAY 2024

On the occasion of World Thalassaemia Day, Chairman HFS Aid Adnan Khan and his team visited the Thalassaemia Centre at DHQ Hospital, Mirpur and distributed gifts along with cash donations to the children suffering from thalassaemia.

Whilst in a conversation with MS DHQ Hospital Dr Amir Aziz and other medical professionals, Adnan Khan said that HFS Aid has been providing financial support to children suffering from thalassaemia for the past three years. HFS Aid will further help children by financially assisting them with blood transfusion expenses.

On this occasion, Chairman HFS Aid also met with the Heads of various other departments.

WORLD THALASSAEMIA DAY 2024

Chairman HFS Aid Adnan Khan visited the Thalassaemia Centre at DHQ Hospital, Mirpur where Dr Akhlaaq Wazeer briefed the team on the work that is being carried out at the Thalassaemia Centre.

HFS Aid aims to financially assist 10 needy children on a monthly basis who are unable to afford regular blood transfusions.
