💔 We have the very sad news that we never wanted to share today. 💔

Little Princess lost her fight late last night. 🌈

Her head injury was simply too severe for her little body to come back from. We had hoped and prayed that she would surprise us, but sadly, despite everything that was done for her, it wasn’t enough. 💔

We did everything we could for this precious little baby, and we are absolutely heartbroken that we couldn’t save her.

We still don’t know how Princess suffered her head injury, and sadly we may never know. What we do know is that she was loved, she was cared for, and she wasn’t alone in her final days❤️

Fly high beautiful Princess. 🌈🐾
You are free now, sweetheart. No more pain, no more fear. Go and play with all the other little babies who were waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. 💕

Run free, little one. You will never be forgotten. 🐾💔🌈

Sleep peacefully Princess. You were so very loved. ❤️

🦇🐾 Baby Batfinks Update! 🐾🦇
Our five little Baby Batfinks are absolutely thriving under their watchful mum’s care. ❤️ She really is the BEST mum, and she’s doing such an amazing job with her little bat babies! 🥰
All five are growing like little weeds and are getting much more adventurous by the day. They’re starting to wriggle and wobble their way around a lot more now, and those teeny tiny little eyes are beginning to open! 👀🥹
And apparently… once you can see, you can also have opinions! 😂
We’ve already had a couple of teeny tiny little hisses as they start discovering the world around them. 🥰😂
Honestly, those tiny squeaky hisses from a baby that weighs practically nothing are absolutely hilarious! 🦇😂
Keep growing, little Batfinks! We can’t wait to watch you turn into five gorgeous little mischief-makers. ❤️🐾

💗 A LITTLE UPDATE ON PRINCESS 💗

We wanted to give you all a little update on our beautiful Princess.

She is more comfortable today and is tolerating her feeds well, which is really positive. ❤️‍🩹

She also seems to be more responsive when we talk to her, and she is moving her back legs a little more. The movements aren’t coordinated at the moment, but we are taking every tiny positive sign we can get. 🥺💗

There is still a very long way to go, and we simply don’t know what the coming days will bring. Her brain needs time to settle, and as that happens, we should hopefully get a better idea of whether there has been any lasting brain damage and what that might mean for Princess.

For now, we are taking it one hour at a time and doing everything we can for this little girl.

And as we’ve learnt with our precious Chloe, sometimes these little fighters can surprise you. ❤️

So please, keep those thoughts and prayers coming for Princess. 🙏🏻💗

Come on Princess… keep fighting sweetheart. 👑🐾❤️‍🩹

💔 PLEASE KEEP PRINCESS IN YOUR THOUGHTS TONIGHT 💔

We need to introduce you to beautiful Princess, but sadly this isn’t the happy introduction we would normally make. 😔

Princess was found collapsed by a member of the public yesterday and was rushed to the vets, where she spent the entire day being assessed and receiving treatment.

We have now taken Princess into Kings Heath Cat Rescue and, sadly, she has had to go straight back to the vets again this morning. 💔

X-rays haven’t shown anything obvious, and second opinions have been sought, with everyone agreeing on the findings. Princess has definite tenderness when her neck is moved, so the vets are doing everything they can to prevent further aggravation.

She is having a feeding tube placed so she can receive the food and support she needs without having to keep moving her neck, and she is being given Metacam for pain and inflammation.

Things are looking bleak for our little girl, but we are doing absolutely everything we can for her. ❤️‍🩹

We have got Princess this far, and now she needs to keep fighting.

So today we are asking you all to please keep Princess in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻💗 Send her all the love, strength and positive thoughts you possibly can.

And if anyone would like to send a few pounds towards Princess’s emergency veterinary care, we would be incredibly grateful. These unexpected emergencies can be incredibly expensive, but there was never any question that we would leave this little girl without help. We will do everything we can for her. ❤️

Come on Princess… fight sweetheart. 👑💗

🙏🏻 Please keep her in your thoughts today ❤️

❤️ UPDATE ON OUR LOVELY STREET CAT SCALLY, AKA SCABBERS ❤️

We have a lovely update on our rugged old man! 🥰

Scally’s neuter went really well today, and we’re also very pleased to say he is FIV negative and his remaining teeth are all looking good. 🥳

His skin condition should also start clearing up now that he’s being treated for the fleas, so hopefully he’ll soon be feeling much more comfortable in his skin.

Scally really is such a lovely boy. He can get a little over-stimulated at the moment though, and may give you a very forceful love followed by a little gentle attack! 😂❤️ He’s definitely still learning how to be a pampered boy rather than a street warrior!

🏡 WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME FOR SCALLY.

This poor old man has had such a hard life, and he really, really deserves the chance to learn how to live in a home and enjoy all the comforts he’s never had. ❤️

Scally would need to be the only pet in his foster home, and ideally someone experienced with cats who understands that coming into a home will be a HUGE step for him.

He will need time, patience and space to adjust. He needs to be allowed to come to his humans in his own time and learn that he is safe, loved and that nobody is going to take his food or hurt him.

He is also currently a VERY messy eater 😂 but we’re sure this will settle once he realises that food is coming regularly and consistently. When you’ve spent your life surviving on the streets, you understandably don’t take any chances when food is available. 🥺

While Scally is in foster, all of his food and medical bills will be covered by the rescue ❤️

His foster home would need to be a commitment until he is ready to move on to the next chapter — he will stay with his foster family until he is settled, ready to be put up for adoption and finds his forever family. 🏡❤️

His foster home would also need to be within easy travelling distance of our vets in either Olton or Kings Heath, as he may need ongoing veterinary care while he settles into home life.

This poor boy has only ever known a life of survival.

Now he deserves to be treated like the prince he should have always been. 👑❤️

Yes, he’s a little rough around the edges… but we think that just adds to his rugged charm! 😂

We really hope there is someone out there willing to give this special old man the time and patience he needs to discover just how lovely life in a home can be. 🥹❤️

Scally is ready for his next chapter. 🐾❤️

💗🐾 Something very special has happened with Emmie, Indie & their 7 kittens! 🐾💗

A little update/development on our two beautiful sisters and their babies. ❤️

Emmie and Indie arrived at the rescue together at just 9 months old, having been saved from being put to sleep — and, as we now know, they were both heavily pregnant. 🥺💔

Indie had her babies first, followed by Emmie, and from the moment they arrived it was very obvious just how closely bonded these two sisters are. Because of this, we have always kept them together and never separated them. ❤️

Well… today something rather special happened! 🥹

They are now officially co-parenting! 🥰🐱🐱

Emmie has been moving her kittens, one by one, and putting them in with Indie’s kittens. They have both settled into this new arrangement perfectly and seem so happy to be back sharing the same bed again. ❤️

And the best part… we weighed all 7 babies this morning and they are doing brilliantly! 🥰

💕 Indie’s babies are all around 250g
💕 Emmie’s babies are around 150g

We couldn’t be happier with their progress. 🥹❤️

Both moms are still very small themselves, and with two litters between them they need plenty of calories to keep up with feeding all these hungry little mouths! 🍼🐱

We have been giving both Emmie and Indie RECOACTIV Recovery Immun for Cats – High-Calorie alongside their meals to help give them the extra calories and nutritional support they need while they are feeding their babies. ❤️

If anyone would like to buy a bottle for Emmie and Indie, they would be very grateful. 🙏🏻❤️ We have added it to our Amazon wishlist.

It really is lovely to see these two young sisters raising their babies together. They have already been through so much at such a young age, and watching them now happily co-parent their little family is just incredibly special. 🥹💗

Keep watching for lots more updates on Emmie, Indie and their 7 little babies! 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ MEET OUR LONG-TERM FOSTERS ❤️🐾

We wanted to start introducing you all to some of our long-term foster cats. We have quite a few, so bear with us — we’ll be introducing them all over the coming weeks! 🥰

Our long-term fosters are cats who are either very elderly or have ongoing medical needs which sadly make them much harder to find homes for. 💔

But that doesn’t mean they deserve any less love, care or the chance to enjoy their retirement. ❤️

Donations of food and supplies are absolutely vital for these cats, so we hugely appreciate everyone who sends goodies to help keep our long-term residents happy and comfortable. 🥹❤️

We also spend a LOT of time fundraising to make sure we have funds available for their ongoing veterinary bills. These old boys and girls can certainly keep the vets busy! 😂💸

So, let’s introduce you to our first long-term foster…

👑🐾 MEET NOU (17 years old)— or Madam Noonoo, as we like to call her! 😂😂

Poor Nou found herself needing a new home after her owner sadly passed away. 💔 She had nowhere to go and was due to be put to sleep, so we simply couldn’t let that happen and stepped in to take her into rescue.

Nou has now been with us for just over a year. ❤️

She may not have been one of the easiest cats to find a home for, but she has absolutely deserved her chance, and we’re so happy that she’s safe, loved and being looked after by us. 🥹🐾

And this is exactly why your support really does matter.

🙏 If just HALF of our followers donated £1 a month, it would make such a huge difference to us and could help us save so many more cats who, like Madam Noonoo, have nowhere else to turn. 🥺❤️

£1 might not feel like much, but when lots of people do it, it adds up to something HUGE for the cats. 🐾❤️

Thank you to everyone who already supports our long-term fosters — whether you donate, send food and supplies, share our posts or simply follow their stories.

We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. ❤️🐾

🐾❤️ MAGPIE & DOMINO ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Meet these two gorgeous little girls! 🥰🐾

Magpie & Domino are beautiful black & white sisters who are around 12 weeks old. They’re typical playful, cheeky kittens who love exploring, playing and getting up to mischief! 😻

They can be a little shy when they first meet you, but with a little patience, love and reassurance, they soon come out of their shells. ❤️

💕 Magpie & Domino must be adopted together as they are very bonded and we want them to grow up together.

They should be fine living with children, provided they are handled gently and given time to settle into their new home.

🏡 Their forever home must be:

❤️ Away from busy roads
❤️ Landlord’s permission if renting
❤️ A safe and loving home
❤️ Committed to having them neutered when they are old enough
❤️ Willing to give them time and patience while they settle

🐾 HOME CHECKS AND ADOPTION FEES APPLY. 🐾

These two little girls are ready to find their very own family and we’d love to see them find a wonderful home together. ❤️🏡

If you think Magpie & Domino could be the perfect addition to your family, please message us with your your details and cat(s)/ kittens your are interested in ❤️❤️
